This is Practice in the Last Nights of Ramadan

DDHK.ORG - The month of Ramadan means the month of burning. What to burn? All Allah asks is:

  1. Burning of sins. As soon as Ramadan is finished, we will get appreciation and prayers from our brothers and sisters, namely "minal 'aidin".
  2. Soul burning. Our hard souls, our hearts that are like stones, burned in the way of our lust by Allah forced to do many deeds which are obligatory and sunnah. During the day, our hunger and appetite must be exercised by restraining them through fasting. At night, our lust for sleep is trained in literacy to perform Tarawih prayers. Sahur time is a blessed time. Not having an appetite to eat, told to eat. On the other hand, while his appetites are eating and drinking during the day, he is told to refrain.

The purpose of this burning is so that our hearts are soft, our hearts are easy to shape. And, the desired form is "la'allakum tattaqun", the form of pious people.

People who are pious, in QS Al-Hujurat: 13, it is mentioned as the most noble form: "inna akramakum 'indallahi atqokum."

If we have softened our hearts and souls with practices in the month of Ramadan, we hope that at the end of Ramadan people will give appreciation and prayers, after "minal a'idin" is equipped with "wal faizin". So in full, "ja'alallahu lakum minal aidina wal faizin": may Allah make you a person who returns to being pure, without sin, without blasphemy, and also a winner because you achieve piety.

If we understand this, then at the end of this Ramadan we will struggle, because we are in the final round to reach the level of piety and glory, so that our sins are forgiven by Allah Ta'ala, so that our degree is glorified by Allah.

Meanwhile, the month of Shawwal is the month of the rapture. It has something to do with Ramadan. After being light without sin, then our rank will be lifted by Allah Ta'ala.

The Power of the End Times

Let us not underestimate the last seconds before Ramadan leaves us. Rasulullah conveyed about the enormity of the end times. Among them:

  1. Determinants of our charity.

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Truly there is a servant who does the deeds of a resident of hell, but ends up being a resident of heaven, and there is a servant who practices the deeds of an inhabitant of heaven, but ends up being a resident of hell, and in fact those deeds are determined at its closing." (Narrated by Bukhari: 6117)

A person's life in su-ul khotimah or husnul khotimah depends on the charity he chooses at the end of his life. So, as long as we still have the chance to live, it means that Allah still gives us the opportunity to reach husnul khotimah.

So the salafus sholih often say the following final prayer:

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ خَيْرَ عُمْرِي آخِرَهُ ، وَخَيْرَ عَمَلِي خَوَاتِمَهُ ، وَخَيْرَ أَيَّالمِي يَوْمَ خَوَاتِمَهُ ، وَخَيْرَ أَيَّالمِي يَوْقَ

Allahummaj'al khayra 'umri Akhirahu, wakhaira' amali khawatimahu, wa khaira ayyami yauma al-qaka.

"(O Allah, make the best of my age at the end, and make the best of my deeds at the end of my life, and make the best of my days when I meet You (on the Day of Resurrection)."

  1. Heaven's key.

"Who at the end of his life can say la ilaha illallah (there is no god but Allah), then he will enter heaven." (Narrated by Abu Daud).

Allah also reminded (QS 23: 99-100), that at the end of our lives we should not be the ones who have to experience negotiations of regret.

"(Such is the condition of the disbelievers), until when death comes to someone from them, he says," O my Lord, return me (to the world), so that I can do the good that I have left behind. " Of course not! In fact, it was an excuse that he uttered. And before them there is a barzach until the day they are resurrected. "

Likewise in QS 63: 10-11, Allah reminds:

وانفقوا من ما رزقنكم من قبل ان يأتي احدكم الموت فيقول رب لولآ اخرتني الى اجل قريب فاصدق واكن من الصلحين ولن يؤخر الله نفسا اذا جاء اجلها والله خبير بما تعملون ࣖ

“And give part of what We gave you before death came to one of you; then he said (regretfully), "O my Lord, if you are willing to delay (death) me a little more time, then I can give alms and I will be among the pious." And Allah will not delay (death) a person when the time of his death has come. And Allah is careful what you do. "

So let's make the end of Ramadan the final round of the competition to be the best. And this competition, so that our sins are eliminated, so that we are noble, and not only ourselves but also our children, Allah will provide the moment. Namely, Lailatul Qadar.

When Allah chose the name Al-Qadar, the goal was not only to encourage us to compete to do good, but also in essence we need lailatul qadar. Then, what is lailatul qadar?

One of them, because tonight means "lailatut taqdir", the night that determines human destiny in a year. We know for ourselves, we often speak words that can eventually bring bad luck, not only for us, but also for the people we love. And, we want to erase them all. one of the moments, Allah gave him the opportunity on the night of Lailatul Qadar.

Practices in the Last Nights of Ramadan

So let's join our worship on these last nights of Ramadan by praying to erase our bad luck as well as the bad luck of all our descendants. Because, on the night of Lailatul Qadar, the angels will guarantee our prayers.

Then, what are the practices that we should do on the last nights of Ramadan?

First, get closer and interact more with the Qur'an. Because the night of Lailatul Qadar is glorious because of the Qur'an, what we approach and take the key is the Qur'an.

Not only that, but the Qur'an is the cause of all glory. Namely:

  1. He reduced the moon to become the leader of the moon.
  2. The day of his descent is better than 1000 months, equivalent to 83 years.
  3. The angel who was in charge of bringing him into the leadership of the angel, namely Jibril.
  4. The prophet who accepts as the closing prophet. Although the last, but as the best prophet.
  5. The people who live it become the best people. Whatever the Qur'an commands and forbids to fulfill, we will undoubtedly become the best people.
  6. Become a perfect and perfect scripture.

Therefore, let's get closer to the Qur'an in the last nights of Ramadan. Moreover, Ramadan is the month when Allah's love letter was sent to His chosen apostles. Rasulullah saw, "Suhuf (sheet) Ibrahim 'alaihissalam was sent down at the beginning of the night of Ramadan. The Torah was revealed on the sixth day of Ramadan. The Bible on the 13th of Ramadan. Al-Furqan on the 24th day of Ramadan. " (HR Ahmad)

Al-Qur'an will also be a "pass card" for us to reach the highest heaven in the future. Later, it will be said to the expert of the Qur'an; read it and go up, then read it with tartil as you read it when you were on earth, because in fact your place is at the end of the verse you read. " (HR Tirmidhi)

On the Day of Resurrection, the Qur'an will come and say, "O Rabb, give him clothes," then clothe him with a crown of glory, then the Koran says again, "O Rabb, add to him," then clothe him with glorious garments. , then said again, "O Rabb please be pleased with him," finally he was pleased, then said to the expert of the Koran, "Read and go up, undoubtedly will be added to you one good reward in every verse." (HR Tirmidhi)

Thanks to the Koran, someday we can pin crowns for our parents. However, there are conditions.

The Holy Prophet said, "and whoever reads the Qur'an, then he completes it and practices it then on the Day of Resurrection he will put on a crown for his parents which is better than the sunlight that enters the houses of the world. If so, how do you feel about those who practice it? " (HR Ahmad)

Allah is Glorious and Glorious. It is very inappropriate for us to be juxtaposed with Allah Ta'ala. But Allah gives privileges to people who want to interact with the Qur'an.

The Holy Prophet said, "Allah Ta'ala has a family among humans. Indeed, those who control the Koran are the family of Allah and His specialties. " (HR Ahmad)

Thanks to the Qur'an, all our best wishes are fulfilled. The Prophet said, "Rabb 'Azza wa jalla said," Whoever is preoccupied with the Qur'an and dhikr to Me to ask Me, then I will give him the best that I give to those who ask, "And the advantages of kalamullah (Al-Qur'an) over all kalam are like the advantages of Allah over all of His creatures." (HR Tirmidhi)

We also have to know, there are 3 letters that begin with "Qul" in the Qur'an that should not be forgotten. Rasulullah saw me, started in greeting and took my hand, he then said, "O Uqbah bin Amir, would you like me to teach you the virtues of the 3 letters that have been revealed in the Torah, the Bible, Zabur, and Al Furqan Al Azhim?" Uqbah said, "I answered," Of course! May Allah make me your ransom. " Uqbah said, "He then read: 'Qul Huwallahu Ahad', Qul a'udzu birabbil falaq ', and Qul a'udzu birobin naas,' After that he said," O Uqbah, don't forget it and don't spend the night until you read it. . " Uqbah said: So I did not forget it since he said, "Do not forget it." and I never spent the night until I read it. (HR Ahmad)

Second, there should be no commotion in the family, both between husband and wife and parents and children.

Takwa begins with personal worship and ends with family resilience. This is the message of Allah in the verse about Ramadan.

For that, let us show our class before Allah in this month of Ramadan. Our class is a pious family class. The way is, we cover our family's disgrace, we create warmth in our family.

Do not let cracks occur in the household. There is a hadith which reports that because someone was making a fuss in front of the Prophet, Allah finally withdrew the rizki to the Messenger of Allah which would be conveyed to us. Namely, information about the exact time of Lailatul Qadar's arrival. Rasulullah then reminded him to wait for Lailatul Qadar on the odd and specific nights of Ramadan in the last third of the night.

From this history we take lessons. Don't let us want that in the last nights of Ramadan we want the angel Jibril and the angels to pray for us, give blessings to our family, but in the end the angels turn away and are reluctant to visit our house. Why? because there is a commotion in our house.

For that, in these moments let us hold back our emotions, no matter what. Sorry lots of stock. Also, multiply istighfar. God willing, that way Allah and the angels will love it, then the hearts of those we love will soften.

Third, maintain chastity, by keeping ablution. Allah is very fond of people who purify.

Fourth, sitting in a state of preparation for the arrival of the angel Jibril and the angels. When the angel comes, we are lying or sleeping, the angel will turn away.

Fifth, Prepare prayers that are in line with the prayers of the angels. The prayers we pray are not only for ourselves, but also for all our children.

This is the prayer:
