There is a local Covid-19 infection, Macau holds its third mass test

DDHK.ORG - The confirmation of 4 cases of local infection that occurred within 24 hours made the Government Macau issued a provision for the third mass Covid-19 test in the former Portuguese colony. The third nucleic acid test center throughout the city runs from 21:00 p.m. on Monday, October 4, to 21:00 p.m. on October 7.

"All residents, non-resident workers or other persons currently residing in Macau, of any age, are required to be tested," it said. Macau Canal TDM.

Those who have been injected with the vaccine must wait 24 hours before they can take samples for nucleic acid testing or Covid-19 tests. The mass testing program that is mandatory for the entire population in Macau is currently available free of charge at 41 sampling stations provided by the country's health authorities.

To shorten queuing time, people who need special care are advised to order tests at public test stations with the help of family or friends and use priority channels at public test stations.

Advance reservation is required at public testing stations, members of the public are encouraged to arrive at the relevant stations on time, or no earlier than 1 hour before the scheduled time. If you are late, you have to order or rebook.

At the test site, each individual must present an original identity document (the same document used in the Macau Health Code), order code, and Health Code.

Yellow health code holders can be tested at any testing station. Meanwhile, code red holders are required to take the test at the sampling station at Conde de Sao Januario General Hospital.

People who are bedridden or immobile are advised to seek help from family and friends. Those experiencing difficulties can call the Social Welfare Bureau's 24-hour hotline at 28261126 for assistance.
