Make Gratitude and Patience as Capital to Face Disasters

HONG KONG - Dai Cordofa Dompet Dhuafa Hong Kong (DDHK), Ahmad Syakir, Tuesday (4/2/2020) evening, provided an online study which was attended by volunteers, students from the Al-Qur'an Clinic, and Package B and Package C DDHK school students. The theme of the study presented was, "Being grateful for the joy by imitating the Prophet Muhammad SAW".

“In this life, Allah tests His servants to test their good deeds. As a faithful servant, let us be patient with all the calamities and always be grateful for all the blessings from Him, ”Ustadz Syakir ordered in the study.

Besides being patient and grateful, the ustadz from Solo, Central Java, also reminded the importance of knowledge. With knowledge, it is hoped that it can harmonize the life of this world and the hereafter. "And, Allah will raise the rank and facilitate the way to heaven for those who want to study," he said.

There are many stories in the Qur'an that we can take knowledge from. For example, the word of Allah Ta'ala in verse 34 of surah al-Baqarah. "And (remember) when We said to the angels: 'Prostrate you to Adam'. They prostrated themselves, except for the devil. He refused and boasted himself, and he was an infidel. "

From the story above, a lesson can be drawn that pride and pride will lead to destruction.

"Hopefully we are among the servants who are always clever and grateful, trying to study to become better servants," said Ustadz Syakir. [Praise]
