"We receive these funds for the payment of zakat, infaq, waqf, social humanity and sacrifices," said General Manager of DDHK, M. Imam Baihaqi.
The biggest, DDHK received qurbani fund payments. Namely, the amount of HK $ 113,249.
"With these funds, DDHK bought 74 goats and 9 cows, as mandated by the qurbans," said Imam.
Sacrificial animals are distributed to Riau, East Nusa Tenggara, West Java, East Java, Maluku, North Maluku, and communities affected by flash floods in South Sulawesi province.
DDHK also reported that throughout July, it continued to provide information and education about the Covid-19 outbreak, da'wah, and activities for implementing institutional programs, through the website, Facebook page and Instagram. "The programs implemented throughout July include shelter services, online Tuesday night studies, prison visits, Sunday morning Al-Qur'an Clinic, Friday night expatriate studies, shelter studies, children's TPQ, online consultation via WhatsApp, 4 sewing classes, and distribution of aid to Magetan, Lombok, and assistance for the construction of the Tung Chung Mosque, "said Imam.
Meanwhile, the realization of cooperation with various institutions in July was marked by participation in the Hong Kong Consulate General's Instant Coffee activities, receipt of SmarTone Donation SMS funds, and opening of institutional TNG accounts.
