In July 2021, DDHK disbursed funds for several social activities. Among them, financial assistance to South Sulawesi, Tulung Agung, Blitar, Ponorogo, Pekalongan, Banyumas, and Malang. All of this assistance was provided through the management of the Da'wah partner taklim assembly and the DDHK Volunteer Team.
Assistance is also provided to Indonesian migrant workers in Hong Kong who are in need. This month, DDHK also provided shelter services to 9 Indonesian migrant workers in Hong Kong who needed temporary housing due to various factors.
Media and Da'wah Sector
In the field of media and news, DDHK continues to publish news and information about the Islamic world, institutional activities, religious consultations, as well as the latest information from Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Macau. A total of 55 news and articles were published through the website ddhk.org. While on social media, DDHK made 216 posts on Facebook page Dompet Dhuafa Hong Kong, 41 posts on Instagram, and 30 videos on Youtube channel DDHK News.
Through the da'wah program, DDHK provides 10 online consultations, 28 online religious tausiyah, and organizes 14 Qur'an learning classes, for adults, boys and girls, and children. “These activities were attended by 922 people, consisting of various groups.
