Today Indonesia is Holding a Democracy Party

Indonesia today, Wednesday (14/2/2024), has held a General Election (Pemilu) since morning. Based on Article 4 PKPU Number 3 of 2019, voting at TPS is held from 07.00 to 13.00 local time.

In the 2024 elections, the Indonesian people in Indonesia will elect the President and Vice President, members of the DPR RI, members of the DPD RI at the national level. At the regional level, the community will also elect members of their respective provincial DPRD and district/city DPRD.

Based on CNN Indonesia's report, Mahfud MD is the first vice presidential candidate to vote in the 2024 election. Candidate number 3 voted at TPS 106 Maguwoharjo. At almost the same time, presidential candidate number 3 Ganjar Pranowo was seen voting at polling station number 11, Lempongsari, Gajah Mungkur, in Semarang.

Meanwhile, vice presidential candidate number 1, Muhaimin Iskandar, was observed voting at TPS 023 in the Kemang area, Jakarta. Meanwhile, presidential candidate number 1, Anies Baswedan, voted at TPS 060 which is close to his residence in Lebak Bulus, Jakarta.

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and First Lady, Iriana Joko Widodo, vote at TPS 10 Gambir, Jakarta. Meanwhile, presidential candidate number 2, Prabowo Subianto, voted at TPS 33 Hambalang, Bogor. Meanwhile, vice presidential candidate number 2, Gibran Rakabuming Raka arrived at polling place (TPS) 34 Manahan, Solo.

This time, the democratic party in Indonesia had technical problems in several places. The reason is, in several areas, including DKI Jakarta, heavy rain fell from midnight until early morning.

Flooding also occurred in several TPS locations, such as in Jakarta, Tangerang and Demak. Apart from that, many tents that had been prepared beforehand for voting collapsed due to the heavy rain.
