"Through this plenary meeting, we have determined the Governor and Deputy Governor of DIY for the term of 2022-2027. Nuryadi explained, with this stipulation, the DIY DPRD has carried out its duties in accordance with Law Number 13 of 2012 concerning the Privileges of DIY. In this law it is stated that one of the privileges of DIY includes the procedure for filling in the positions, positions, duties, and authorities of the Governor and Deputy Governor. For the position of Governor of DIY by Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono and Deputy Governor by KGPAA Paku Alam.
Nuryadi hopes that the inauguration of the Governor and Deputy Governor of DIY for the term of 2022-2027 can be carried out on time, namely on October 10, 2022.
The Governor of DIY, Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X, expressed his gratitude to the DIY DPRD for completing the stages of determination in accordance with applicable legislation. In line with the applicable regulations, the terms of office of the Governor and Deputy Governor of DIY for the 2017-2022 period will end on October 10, 2022.
