DDHK.ORG - That afternoon the Quraysh leaders made preparations to carry out the plan that had been set by the Makkah Parliament at Darun Nadwah in the morning. To implement this plan, 11 prominent people were appointed among them, namely:
- Abu Jahal bin Hisham
- Al-Hakamn bin Abul Ash
- Uqbah bin Abu Mu'aith
- An-Nadhar bin Al-Harith
- Umayya bin Khalaf
- Zam'ah bin Al-Aswad
- Thu'aimah bin Adi
- Abu Lahab
- Ubay bin Khalaf
- Nubih bin Al-Hajjaj
- Munabbih Al-Hajjaj
Ibn Ishaq said, "At the beginning of the night they gathered at the door of his house, peeked at him when he was sleeping and was ready to approach him."
They were so sure that this plan would go smoothly, so that Abu Jahal stood proud and arrogant. With this he said to his companions who surrounded his house, "Indeed Muhammad once said that if you follow his religion, then you will become kings for Arabs and non-Arabs, then you will be raised again after death, then there will be gardens. gardens like the gardens in the Jordan. If you don't do it, then you will die, then you will be resurrected after that, and there is a fire that will burn you."
As planned, the evil plan will be carried out at midnight. So they kept watch waiting for the appointed time. But God has more power over this matter. In His hands are all the kingdoms of the heavens and the earth. He does whatever He pleases. He protects and does not need protection. He carried out what He had conveyed to the Messenger of Allah ,
لَّذِينَ ا۟ لِيُثْبِتُوكَ لُوكَ للَّهُ للَّهُ لْمَٰكِرِينَ
"And (remember), When the disbelievers (Quraish) thought of their efforts against you to arrest and imprison you or kill you or drive you away. They think about deceit, and Allah is the Best of Deceit (Surah Al-Anfal: 30)
