PMI Enthusiastic, Koh Dennis Lim Study in Hong Kong Attended by 1.500 Congregants

A total of around 1.500 pilgrims attended the Grand Study with Koh Dennis Lim which was held Dompet Dhuafa Hong Kong (DDHK) at the Kowloon Mosque Hall, Tsim Sha Shui, Hong Kong, on Sunday, (25/2/2024). The study with the theme "Building a Spirit for Life in Islam" was divided into two sessions, morning and afternoon.

Present on the agenda, General Manager Dompet Dhuafa Hong Kong, Ustadz Fajar Shofari Nugraha. He gave a speech in the Koh Dennis Lim study series with DDHK.

In his speech, apart from socializing the DDHK program, Ustadz Fajar said that togetherness in doing good will have the effect of reviving the glory of the Ummah. "Therefore, we invite the congregation to follow the path of goodness with DDHK," he said.

The agenda continued with the study presented by Koh Dennis Lim. He advised that everything we do must seek the approval of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.

"If Allah is pleased, then the heart will be calm," said Koh Dennis.

After the study and question and answer session ended, the event continued with a joint prayer led by Ustadz Abdullah Rahman Shaleh, Dai DDHK.

The presence of thousands of congregants shows the great enthusiasm of Indonesian migrant workers (PMI) for the Grand Study activities. "Thank you to all parties. Both Koh Denis and the team, DDHK volunteers, and all representatives of the Assembly have made this agenda a success. "Please pray that DDHK can be steadfast in serving the people in Hong Kong and can continue to provide da'wah services and other programs in the continuation of bil haal da'wah in this country of concrete," said Ustadz Fajar.

At the end of Sunday's agenda, the DDHK and Koh Dennis group then headed to the DDHK office in Causeway Bay to carry out Maghrib prayers in congregation. At this moment, Koh Dennis greeted and encouraged the DDHK Volunteers by delivering a short study with the theme "Intention and Motivation in carrying out the missionary mandate with DDHK".
