An announcement about the certainty of this year's Eid was also posted on the website and Facebook account on Tuesday evening Hong Kong time. Through this announcement, the IUHK appealed to congregants who came to perform Eid prayers to wear face masks.

From Macau, DDHK News also received a video recording made by the Imam of the Mo Lo Yuen Mosque, Imam Muhammad Ramadhan. In the video, Imam emphasized that on Tuesday night the new moon had not been seen, so Ramadan was fulfilled for 30 days.
