100 CORONA PATIENTS HAVE YET A MISSION OF THE TREATMENT ROOM

Hong Kong health officials confirmed that more than 100 Covid-19 patients are still waiting for hospital beds as Hong Kong recorded a record high of coronavirus infections. Dr Sara Ho, chief manager for the Hospital Authority, said there are currently 1.016 people in hospital for isolation and treatment, of which 39 are in critical condition, 27 are in serious condition, and 950 are in stable condition.

Currently, according to Ho, the utilization rate of hospital beds for Covid-19 patients has reached a capacity of 79 percent. "He said it was unclear when this patient could be treated, and that the current situation was 'very unsatisfactory', RTHK reported.
