2 Consecutive Days Hong Kong Imports New Covid-19 Cases from Indonesia

DDHK.ORG - On Monday (9/11/2020), the Health Protection Center of the Ministry of Health Hong Kong said that the institution is currently investigating six new cases Covid-19. The new case involved five men and one woman aged 38 to 50 who came from abroad.

Import cases from a number of countries

The official website of the Hong Kong Government, news.gov.hk, reported that of the six new cases, there were those who had just arrived in Hong Kong from Indonesia. Apart from, also from Russia, Kazakhstan, England, and Saudi Arabia.

The day before, Sunday (8/11/2020), Hong Kong had 10 new cases found. "Among the new cases, three were transmitted locally with an unknown source of infection," write news.gov.hk.

Meanwhile, the other seven cases were imported cases from France, Serbia, Kenya, the Philippines and Indonesia. That way, for two consecutive days imported cases from Indonesia contributed to increasing the total number of positive cases of Covid-19 in Hong Kong to 5.380 cases. However, it was not reported in detail, whether this new case from Indonesia was a Hong Kong citizen who had just arrived from Indonesia, or an Indonesian who lived in Hong Kong and had just returned from Indonesia.

Previously, Hong Kong also received new imported Covid-19 cases from Indonesia, namely, on Friday (6/11/2020), when Hong Kong received an additional 6 new cases. All imported cases.
