Thanking Others for Kindness

jazakallahRepaying the kindness of others to us is ordered by Islam. Rasulullah SAW ordered his people to repay the kindness of others with his words:

"Whoever is treated well (by people), he should reciprocate. If he does not find something in return, he should praise it. If he praises him, then he has thanked him, but if he hides it, it means he has denied it " (Narrated by Bukhari).

The Prophet also emphasized that people who are not grateful to humans are not really grateful or grateful to Allah SWT.

Laa yasykurullaaha manlaa yasykurunnaas. "Do not give thanks to Allah who is not grateful to humans." (Narrated by Bukhari and Abu Dawud).

The best gratitude in Islam is to say thank you plus prayers so that Allah will return his kindness. In Arabic, this expression of gratitude and prayer reads "Shukron wa Jazakallahu khairon(Thank you and may Allah reward you with kindness). Rasulullah Saw said:

"Whoever is treated well, then he says to the doer of goodness," May Allah reward you with kindness ", then he has been high in praising him." (HR. Tirmidhi).

If we do good to someone, then that person says "Shukran wa Jazaakallah", Then the answer is"afwan wa yes"(Meaning harfiyah: sorry and to you) which means" sorry I can only do good like that and may Allah also give good to you). Allah knows best. (ed / ddhongkong.org). *
