Pay zakat on assets to fortify or protect the blessings of wealth. Those who often lose their property, are stolen or “robbed”, could be because their zakat is not paid out of their assets.
Take out alms to cure disease. Almsgiving, giving, will bring gifts from Allah. Alms can be intended to cure diseases.
Prayer is the only thing that can resist disaster, that is praying to Allah to avoid disaster. With the power and will of Allah, disaster will not occur.
