DDHK. ORG – Collection Dompet Dhuafa in Ramadan 1444 grew 11,9 percent. On Saturday (22/4/2023), coinciding with 1 Shawwal 1444 H, Dompet Dhuafa recorded that the accumulation of zakat and humanitarian funds during the month of Ramadan 1444 H/2023 M increased by 11,9 percent from the previous year's Ramadan collection.
As reported by the page Dompetdhuafa, Director of Resource Mobilization Dompet Dhuafa, Etika Setiawanti said, the notes above are a positive trend for collection in 2023.
This means, he said, the generosity of the community is increasingly showing a positive trend. This is in line with data from the World Giving Index which states that Indonesia has been the most generous society in the world for 5 consecutive years.
This is evident from the increase in the number of donor participation which increased by 106,1 percent from the previous year. They are dominated by the younger generation, Gen-Z. In addition, the awareness of each individual and community to play an active role in solving social, economic, health, educational, to da'wah & cultural problems, continues to grow.
"Alhamdulillah, the growth in donor participation which strengthened to 106,1 percent is a form of our gratitude, that community generosity shows a positive trend which recorded growth in collection increasing by 11,9 percent," said Etika Setiawanti in a press release, Saturday (22/4/2023 ).
This positive growth was also supported by various programs that were rolled out Dompet Dhuafa during Ramadan. It is recorded that there are 5 pillars of distribution programs spread across various regions of Indonesia, including economic, health, educational, social, and da'wah & cultural programs.
Then, another factor is network maximization Dompet Dhuafa to distribute up to remote country, both organ and branch tissues. This is solely to expand the reach of beneficiaries of each program.
“So far, Tim Dompet Dhuafa still continuing to distribute the mandate from the muzaki to those who are entitled, until later towards the deadline for distributing zakat, which is before the Eid al-Fitr prayer," said the Chairperson of Ramadan Dompet Dhuafa 2023, Suci N. Qadarsih.
During this year's fasting month, Dompet Dhuafa distributed many programs to 34 provinces and 14 countries. The program consists of Spreading Zakat Fitrah, Shopping with Orphans, Ramadan Parcels, Sharing Takjil and Sahur, Wholesale of UMKM Merchandise, Grebek Kampung Ramadhan, Homecoming Services, Dai Cordofa, Cianjur Earthquake Assistance, Turkey and Syria, and many others.
On the same occasion, Chairman of the Foundation Dompet Dhuafa Republika, Rahmad Riyadi, expressed his gratitude to all donors, partners, volunteers, amil, and all parties involved in this Islamic philanthropic activity.
