Indonesian Badminton almost won all titles in the Spain Masters 2021

DDHK.ORG - Indonesia has won 4 titles out of 5 numbers competed in the 2021 Spain Masters badminton championship which was held at the Palacio de Deportes Carolina Marin, Spain. Indonesia can buy up all the titles if single son Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo does not lose in the final match.

Quoting the official BWF website, Indonesia's first victory in the final match on Sunday (23/5/2021) was contributed by the pair Yulfira Barkah / Febby Valencia Gani. The women's doubles from the Red and White team performed impressively by defeating the first seed Amalie Magelund / Freja Ravn, through two straight games, 21-16 and 21-14.

Unfortunately, success in women's doubles did not continue to the men's singles final. Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo won negative results in the second match. Against Toma Junior Popov, the second seed from France, Chico surrendered 15-21 and 17-21.

But after that, Indonesia won 3 other final matches. In the third match, Indonesia again showed its strength in the Spain Masters 2021 through Putri Kusuma Wardani. The 21-year-old badminton player managed to beat Denmark's third seed in women's singles, Line Christophersen, in straight games, 21-15 and 21-10.

Indonesia also won in the men's doubles because there was an all Indonesian final. Pramudya Kusumawardhana / Yeremia Yacob Rambitan successfully conquered their teammate in Pelatnas, Sabar Gutama / Reza Pahlevi, through a rubber set.

Indonesia's last title in the 2021 Spains Masters was presented by the mixed doubles pair Rinov Rivaldy / Pitha Haningtyas Mentari who defeated the Danish pair Niclas Nohr / Amalie Magelund 21-18 and 21-15. [DDHK News]
