DDHK.ORG - After the implementation of the halal menu in KFC branch Chuang's London Plaza Jordan on November 4 2022, this fast food franchise restaurant is increasingly being visited by the Muslim community in Hong Kong.

GM Dompet Dhuafa Hong Kong Imam Baihaqi very much welcomed this happy news. The reason is that he has never bought at KFC before there was a halal certification.
"This is a very good start, KFC has a concern for providing a halal menu, especially for the Muslim community," he said.

As known Dompet Dhuafa Association is active in campaigning for halal food and restaurants in Hong Kong.
Imam also hopes that with the enthusiasm of the Muslim community for the halal menu here, they will consider providing halal menus at other branches such as Causeway Bay.
A spokesperson for KFC Hong Kong said KFC Hong Kong was pleased with the positive response from customers.

The Halal-friendly menu option has been made available at KFC Chuang's London Plaza (Jordan) store for trial from 4 November 2022. We are pleased to see a positive response to one of our latest offerings that makes KFC available to a broader range of customers . The new addition to our menu also echoes our support towards diversity and inclusion,” said KFC Hong Kong.
The halal label on the food provided by KFC Jordan was reviewed by Indonesian Youtubers living in Hong Kong. One of them, Witrinia Bonari.
Through his YouTube channel, he uploaded a 4.01 minute video which was uploaded on November 5, 2022 with the title 'FIRST HALAL KFC IN HONGKONG JORDAN NATHAN'.
This video explains how to get to KFC in Jordan which can be reached by MTR exit A, B, C, or D.

KFC Jordan, which provides a menu labeled halal, has also been reviewed on Diana Apriliya's YouTube channel.
