Husband sends this WhatsApp message, what is the fate of my marriage?

ASKING:

Assalamualaikum.

Chaplain, I want to ask about divorce and divorce. On December 25, 2020, yesterday's husband uploaded a status video entitled: "Rasulullah SAW orders men to divorce women like this!".

In the last WhatsApp conversation, January 2, 2021, the husband wrote a message like this: “Maybe it's better not to go home. I also don't miss it. "

"Try to remember, what was the struggle for me? You have been traveling for a dozen years, which he said was looking for money, which I got mental suffering. "

Have you ever thought of my needs? To be honest, I was very disappointed. A wife looking for money should be a happy husband, well off. Honestly, I owe a lot, but I don't expect from you. "

I left your house because I was bored. Maybe until whenever you are never a good wife. Because, I have not felt comfortable for a dozen years. What's more happiness, far away! "

Since December 31, 2020, my husband doesn't want to pick up the phone. Even though, the money I transferred for school fees was still given to our daughter.

We have been married for 21 years.

On February 26, 2021 I will fly home, no longer working in Hong Kong. What I ask is, how lawful is our marriage? Then, will I return to my husband's house or my parents' house?

Barakallah fikum for the answer, Ustadz.

thanks.

Salam,

Fulanah

ANSWER:

Wa'alaikumussalam warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

In this regard, you should ask parents, elders, or other figures to mediate. By law, it could also be via the KUA (Office of Religious Affairs) or a religious court. To be mediated, prior to any stipulation by law.

Don't forget, pray istikharah too, so that Allah will show you the best option or path.

Thus, wallaahu a'lam bish-showâb.

Regards!
