DDHK.ORG - Every year Dompet Dhuafa has a program for the Spread of Sacrificial Animals, namely the slaughter of qurbani in locations in need throughout the archipelago. In this year, Dompet Dhuafa Hong Kong (DDHK) provides a special service to make it easier for qurbani to make qurbani payments.
“This year, to make it easier for qurbani to pay for qurbani, DDHK is collaborating with BNI Remittance and BRI Remittance. That way, friends can send money while paying for the sacrifice,” said the General Manager Dompet Dhuafa Hong Kong (DDHK), M. Imam Baihaqi.
Especially for BNI Remittance, the qurban payment service can be made at the Keswick Main Branch Office which is located at Shop No. 5 G/F, Nos. 1-7 Keswick Street, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. The location is right in front of the Indonesian Consulate General in Hong Kong.
Meanwhile, BRI Remittance has opened four branches to serve qurbani payments. Namely, in Causeway Bay, Yuen Long, Tsuen Wan, and Mong Kok.
In Causeway Bay, the BRI Remittance branch is located at Shop 3, G/F, 24-36 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. In Yuen Long, the location is Shop 25, 1/F, Hop Yick Commercial Center, 33 Hop Choi Street, Yuen Long, New Territories. In Tsuen Wan, the location is Shop 214, 2/F, Lik Sang Plaza, 260 Castle Peak Road, Tsuen Wan, New Territories. Meanwhile in Mong Kok, the location of the BRI Remittance branch is at No. 137 Sai Yee Street, Mong Kok, Kowloon.
“Customers only need to say they want to sacrifice to the staff serving at BNI Remittance and at BRI Remittance. The staff will provide vouchers as proof of sacrificial payment," said Imam Baihaqi.
Imam said that this year's sacrificial price was HK$1,050 for one goat weighing 23-25 kilograms or 1/7 a cow weighing 250-300 kilograms. "The qurbani will be given a report in the form of photos of the slaughter of the sacrificial animal," he said.
"The maximum limit for paying the qurban is D-1 or July 19, 2021," said Imam.
