DDHK.ORG - Islam is a beautiful religion. Highly respect the morals and rights of fellow human beings. The goodness of Islam that we feel, both in terms of fasting, prayer, zakat, and so on, is a delicacy in our hearts that non-Muslims do not feel.
Rasulullah SAW taught etiquette 24 hours of life. Starting from waking up until going back to sleep, from head to toe, everything has rules in Islam. Rasulullah saw taught how to defecate, how to eat, walk, talk, until the affairs of state administration are so large in scope.
So the beauty and goodness of Islam that we feel we need to share with our brothers and sisters in the Concrete Country. The total population of Hong Kong, according to data from Worldmeter as of February 8, 2022, is 7.594.161 people. So it would be wonderful if that many people also know Islam, know the Messenger of Allah, the Light.
Why do we need to preach as ambassadors of Islam? Because we are representatives of the Prophet Muhammad. He invites people to obey Allah. He loves his people. Even the non-Muslims today are the followers of the Prophet Muhammad.
Should a person invite others to obey Allah?
Majid Al Obeidy is a Saudi national actor. He has a film project on Imam Shafii in Egypt. He also met with film players, including the role of Imam Syafii. When the call to prayer sounded, Majid invited the actor to pray together.
"I never pray at all, let alone in congregation," he replied.
"It's okay, you just come along to be a makmum," said Majid.
"My body is dirty," he reasoned.
"You can take a shower first," said Majid.
The Egyptian actor rushed to take a shower and started praying together with Majid. As soon as he started takbir, the actor fell, collapsed. So many times. After praying, Majid asked his colleague, why? What happened?" asked Majid.
He answered with tears in his eyes, “When I raised my hand and said “Allahu Akbar”, my little heart said, “Is it true that I am in the presence of the Creator? Am I really in the presence of the Most Merciful? Where have I been all this time?” After that, my body went limp and lost the strength to stand up.”
Hearing this, Majid could not help but cry. Embarrassed and ashamed. His friend who was praying for the first time could feel the presence of Allah SWT when he said takbir. While he who has been praying for decades, has never felt that way.
That is if we invite others to goodness. There must be a time when Allah will move the people we invite back to Allah. So let's try to imitate the Prophet in his da'wah. Always enthusiastic and never give up!
