Ustadz Profile: Fauzan Akbar Daulay

DDHK.ORG - The Learner was born on March 8, 1986. Fauzan Akbar Daulay, so his full name, comes from one of the metropolitan cities in Indonesia. Indonesia, namely Medan, North Sumatra.

After finishing junior high school, young Fauzan immediately set foot in the warehouse land of the ulama on the island of Java. In Al Fath, Magetan, East Java, for approximately eight years he studied Arabic Kutub Sittah (6 main reference books in hadith).

Fauzan then continued his undergraduate education at the Sumatran Islamic High School, Medan. At the same time, continue memorizing the Koran at the Islamic Center in the city. Also, pray to the great scholars in the city of Medan.

For learning the science of hadith, Fauzan received a certificate from the Musalsal hadith sanad from Shaykh Zakariyya Talib Al Makki (Mecca), Shaykh Dr. Mahmud Said Mamduh (Egypt), Shaykh Yasir As Syuhairy (Yemen), Shaykh Nizham Ya'qubi Al Abbasi (Bahrain), and Shaykh Dr. Abdul Hakim Al Anis (UAE).

In 2013 he was asked to work as a professional at an international Islamic boarding school on Penang Island, Malaysia, with scholars from Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, India and Sri Lanka. At the same time, studying with Shaykh Nuruddin Al Banjary in a neighboring country. He also studied with scholars in India in 2016.

For da'wah activities in the country, he has toured the islands of Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi, Kalimantan, Lombok, and Bali. While preaching abroad, Ustadz Fauzan has shared religious knowledge in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.

In 2019, Ustadz Fauzan was assigned as Dai Ambassador Cordofa (Corp Dai Dompet Dhuafa) to East Timor. In the same year, he was also appointed as supervisor and panelist at DPF TV.

As of November 2021, Ustadz Fauzan Akbar Daulay was brought in by Dompet Dhuafa Hong Kong to the Land of Concrete in the Dai Ambassador program. After undergoing a 14-day quarantine upon arrival in Hong Kong, he will stay for a year to provide tausiyah and religious consultations to Indonesian citizens, especially migrant workers. [DDHKNews]
