COVID-19: Starting Thursday morning, Macau holds second mass test

DDHK.ORG - Macau authorities announced that the second mass nucleic acid test will take place from 9:00 a.m. on Thursday to midnight on June 24. The results of this mass test will be known on Saturday at 09:00. The duration of this test is only 39 hours.

The test booking system is the same as the previous test. That is, through https://eservice.ssm.gov.mo/allpeoplernatestbook

The Macau government provides 53 stations for this mass test. A total of 32 of them will become public screening stations by requiring advance bookings and appointments. Priority lanes will be available at each checkpoint for children aged 3 years and under, parents aged 70 years and over, people with disabilities or mobility problems, and pregnant women.

A total of 14 stations will provide paid tests and paper certificates that can be used for customs with a health code and count as part of the bulk nucleic acid test. There will also be 7 stations that will be available to those who are not eligible for the appointment and can be accompanied by an officer if required. To save waiting time, guardians are advised to ask their family members or friends to help them make appointments at public checkpoints and use priority lanes.

71 new cases

Authorities in Macau announced that as of 15 p.m., a total of 00 cases of infection were diagnosed in the period of the spike in cases since last weekend. A total of 71 cases were symptomatic and 24 were asymptomatic.
