The Islamic Center Canteen opened in 1981 and is located on the 5th floor of the local mosque and Islamic Center (please dress modestly). Take the elevator, or the stairs to whet your appetite, and you'll soon find yourself at one of the classic round tables.

Open from breakfast to dinner, come early and avoid after 14:30pm for a better selection of dim sum, which finishes at 3pm. Known as 'the only place for Halal Cantonese food in town'.

Order whatever dim sum you fancy (steamed sticky rice with chicken in lotus leaf is highly recommended) along with rice, noodles or a Cantonese style stir fry dish.

Note that this restaurant is only for Muslims from Friday to Sunday, and public holidays.

2. LockCha Tea House

LockCha Tea House is a charming venue where you can experience serenity in the heart of a busy city while enjoying freshly made vegetarian dim sum from a small menu.
